Solar Electric Systems

EnergyWise sells and installs grid-tied solar electric systems. Solar electric systems are a healthy alternative for the environment, compared to oil and coal. Solar electric systems generate electricity from the sun and feed that electricity into a home electrical service panel. Local utilities, including OG&E, keep track of how much is used versus how much is generated, and bill customers for the difference.

There is little to no maintenance involved with grid-tied solar electric. The new generation of inverters and solar modules are durable and reliable. Many now come with long warranties. Solar modules have an industry standard warranty of 25 years. Micro-inverters have a 25 year warranty. In most cases, if a problem ever arises, our local service center will be notified before the homeowner ever realizes there is a problem. With 100% uptime guaranteed, any electricity not generated during an inverter failure will be paid directly to the homeowner!

At EnergyWise, we present to you an exclusive line of systems designed to match your electricity needs and desires. Designed to be aesthetically pleasing and user friendly, each solar package comes with a turn-key solution, including all components, flashed roof mounting, on-line monitoring, city permitting, utility interconnection, and licensed electrical hookup.

EnergyWise solar electric packages made simple:

Starter (1 KW)

  • For the solar enthusiast on a limited budget. Offsets about 14% of average home electricity usage, and can be added onto at a later date.

Small (1.5 KW)

  • Offsets about 20% of average home electricity usage.

Medium (3.0 KW)

  • Offsets about 40% of average home electricity usage.

Large (4.5 KW)

  • Offsets about 60% of average home electricity usage.

XLarge (6 KW)

  • Offsets about 80% of average home electricity usage.

Designer Systems

  • Customize a system for your specific needs, usually based on budget, roof space, or exact electricity usage. Can be designed for commercial applications, large homes, or hybrid solar electric systems.

Tax Credits-Through the year 2016, the US federal government is offering a 30% tax credit on solar electric systems, including installation cost.

Long Lasting and Safe-Each system complies with the National Electric Code (NEC) Article 690, and is permitted in the city or municipality of install. EnergyWise solar electric systems also comply with the Uniform Solar Energy Code (ICC), Building codes (ICC, Asce 7-05), UL Standard 1703, IEEE 1547, and UL Standard 1741.

All roof penetrations are flashed for leak protection and longevity. Every system is grounded for lightning and surge protection. On-line monitoring alerts the homeowner and EnergyWise of any failures in the system. You are never left wondering if your system is working!

Depending on availability, we install mono-crystalline and polycrystalline solar modules (use picture below). Brands offered are Sanyo, Sharp, and CSI modules. We install Enphase micro-inverters on each system (enphaseenergy.com).

Installation of a system is a 2-5 day job. With city permitting, inspections, utility interconnection, and module/inverter availability, job completion usually takes about 4-6 weeks. EnergyWise installs solar electric systems all over the state of Oklahoma.
