The Solar Star attic fan generally draws enough air to ventilate 1000 sq. ft. of attic space. Although assessments are done in cubic feet per minute (cfm), EnergyWise strives to translate this to square feet for easier understanding. The steeper the roof, the more fans you may need per square foot. It is also vital to have plenty of soffit vents under the eaves of your home. We recommend 1 soffit vent for every 8 feet of soffit.

The federal tax credit is 30% of the solar panel and labor through the year 2016.
